The new Nine Inch Nails single, "The Day the World Went Away," is scheduled for a July 20 street release, according to a spokesperson for Weathermen Records, a company that specializes in marketing Nothing Records-related product.

According to the spokesperson, the CD single will contain three songs, including two versions of the song "The Day the World Went Away" and a track called "Starfuckers."

A representative from the Universal Music Group, distributor for the Nothing label, confirmed to MTV News that the Weathermen report is legitimate.

There's no official word yet on the release date for the new Nine Inch Nails album, "The Fragile," but the record is widely expected to hit the streets in September.
