MySpace Debuts Nine Inch Nails Set

By Melinda Newman for Billboard Magazine on April 26, 2005

Online portal MySpace.com began exclusively streaming the new Nine Inch Nails album, "[With_Teeth]" at 12:01 a.m. today (April 26), one week before the Interscope release's May 3 street date.

The album is the first studio release from the Trent Reznor-led act since 1999's "The Fragile." The first single from the new project, "The Hand that Feeds," reached No. 2 on Billboard's modern rock singles chart.

MySpace's last exclusive was the U.S. debut of the Oasis single, "Lyla," which it previewed for one week, starting April 5, prior to the track's release to radio.

MySpace's last full-length exclusive streaming debut was REM's "Around the Sun" (Warner Bros.) in September 2004.
