This One Is On Us (the guys that brought you TDS: Live in collaboration with The NIN Hotline) have today released "Another Version of the Truth: The Gift".

Gift is available in the following formats as a bittorrent release:

• Blu-Ray - the highest quality output. 1080 High Definition video with 5.1 surround sound (25GB)


• Dual Layer DVD - caters to most DVD players. A decent substitute for those without Blu-Ray players (6.5GB)


• Standard DVD - this format has been created due to demand. Dual Layer is the preferred format, so please download that version if possible (4.7GB)


• 720pHD video for computers and Apple TV - (4.5GB)


• 720p Playstation 3 - for use on PS3s and computers (3.5GB)


• MOV file - 1080p file for playback on computers (9GB)


• iPod - perfect for small monitors and on the go (hosting courtesy of Chowderhawk) (1.5GB)


• Youtube - 1080p/720p HD & lower resolution streaming videos

The release is available as a not-for-profit, and those who download copies are encouraged to seed for as long as possible.

Another round of items just went up on the NIN eBay auctions - another batch of guitars. Including that one you've been waiting for, which has in a matter of hours, has already been bid up to several thousand dollars - the Les Paul Classic (1960 reissue) with green & black Fragility art. The auction description lists that it has minor scratches and dings. Warning: Playing the song Heresy on this guitar has been known to induce bouts of screaming hysteria:

12/14 Update! Andrew writes in to point out that the guitar in the auction has one knob, while the one in the video has two knobs. I'm sorry to report that the guitar they are auctioning off may not be directly responsible for the wet panties in the video above. However, ningear states at the bottom of the auction that "none of these 5 guitars are back up guitars. They were played regularly as each one is slightly different."

Well, sadly I don't have any Fragility guitars, or road used keyboards or other NIN studio goodies to offer.. but if by chance the official NIN garage sale items are just a touch out of your budget.. maybe something else that was also part of NIN on the road will suit you. I just uncovered a few more goodies a couple nights ago that are looking for new homes!

So a few minutes ago, 23 more items were added to the NIN ebay auction extravaganza, mostly synthesizers, pro-audio stuff (DAT recorders, mic pre-amp, audio interfaces).

The highlight of this batch, so far as I can see, is the Nord Modular keyboard, which has a broken volume knob and a broken key. Some of you will recognize it before I finish this sentence, but that's the keyboard Trent smashed up in the video for Into the Void. I put a bid in, but it didn't take more than a couple of minutes for me to get outbid. ;_;

Seeing as this is item #72, but there are (as of this posting) 43 items up on eBay now, there may still be more to come before the night is over. Damn this stuff is cool.

Trent added a note about the auctions via his twitter account: "Regarding the NIN/eBay auctions - just clearing out some storage spaces for a new beginning." See? Didn't I tell you to relax? It's all good.

Along with the NIN Yard Sale Auctions - https://bit.ly/NINebay - two more rounds of auctions have been posted in the last two days.

The first is a benefit auction for Deftones bassist Chi Cheng's recovery. Last November, Chi was in a near-fatal car accident that had left him in a coma. He still hasn't fully awoken yet, but is making a slow recovery. Along with dozens of other musicians, Trent Reznor donated a smashed Epiphone guitar that he also signed along with Aaron North, Jeordie White, Josh Freese & Alessandro Cortini. The second is a round of auctions filled with guitars donated by Robin Finck. These include new Shecter guitars along with a Fender Strat that Finck played in his hotel room during the Self Destruct Tour along with being used on stage during Cirque De Soleil's Quidam.
